I want to get my hair cut, but I have no idea what I want. I know that I miss my hair being short though. I haven't had somebody else cut my hair in such a long time and I'm kind of nervous about it (I ususally just grab a pair of scissors and start chopping until I like how it looks). My favorite haircut was right after I had a mohawk. It had grown out a bit on the sides, and I just cut off the back part of it and shortened the top a little, but now it seems like it could look like the Kate Gosselin haircut and I don't really want that. Any suggestions?

Well... Since I don't know what you look like, any suggestion I make would be totally bogus, or innaporpriate.

Buuut... 40's-50's girls have the best hair IMO.

Pictures don't work in this fucking place so I'll have to post links.

All of those are really nice, I think. The one in the bottom left corner is my favorite, the one next to it is my second favorite.
If I were a girl I would TOTALLY do my hair like that, I think.

These are nice too, but you can hardly see them.

Hmm. I do like that first one (the bottom left), but it seems like a lot of work. And I don't think the non-styled version of it would be much shorter than it is now.
I agree that the 40s had cool hair styles. So did the 50s. And 20s and 30s.

I really have no clue what year those styles came from, I just guessed the year and googled "Vintage girl's hairstyles" and "pin-up girl hairstyles."
I have always liked them. I NEVER see anyone IRL with them. :<

Sometimes I'll see a chick on the cover of a tattoo or motorcycle magazine with hair like that.

Anyway, they do look like they would take a lot of work to maintain. They are very impractical, I think, especially now.
If your hair naturally curly, or straight?

It says I'm not authorized to see the picture, but I do love Tank Girl... I found a picture that's similar to my post-mohawk hair. I might miss it enough to get it done again. Then I won't have to pay somebody else to do it.

I love Tank Girl, did you know there is a new Tank Girl comic series out? It's called "Tank Girl: Skidmarks," Martin is still writing, but some other guy calling himself "Rufus Dayglo" is doing the art. I have bought a couple of issues but haven't read them. I'm not happy about this Dayglo guy replacing Hewlett, but I have to admit, the art doesn't disappoint.

I like that hair style, it's pleasantly wild.
