I'm still debating on whether or not to see it. I hear nothing but bad things. Bad directing, bad acting, bad cinematography etc. etc. I tend to believe it's true too, since the author feels the same way.

Have you read the books?
Cos I hadn't read the books before I went to go and see it and I thought it was brilliant and wasn't disappointed, and I read Twilight after.

The cinematography wasnt to my liking...I felt it didnt fit the context of the film. Having said that, I think you should still see it and then read the books. The books are ridiculously easy to read, usually takes a day to get through a book. There were a lot of things I would have changed but oh well. C'est la vie.

I can't really remember the cinematograpghy, though I think I thought it was pretty good at times.
Taking film studies has just ruined my film watching, I keep analysing all the symbolism and cinematography and stuff.
Hahaha.
But now things in films make much more sense.
I'm getting New Moon and hopefully Eclipse and Breaking Dawn tomorrow.

Yes, I read the books and wasn't very impressed even by those. I have to keep reminding myself they're for a high school level to appreciate them for what they are.
