I'll make sure I don't see the film before I read it.

I watched Memiors of a Geisha last night, and it was awesome, wish I'd read the book, I hate reading books after I've seen a film.

Yeah me too, although either way the movie usually stuffs the book up or misses/changes the good stuff. If you read it before then the movie could be disappointing and if you read it after you realise what was missing.

I was gonna see the movie with my mum, can't remember the last time we saw a movie together.

Its not so much that for me, its just reading a book, no matter how good it is, after already knowing what happens kinda seems pointless.

I have the book for MOG but I've never read it. Watched about five minutes of the film on sky..need to watch and read them at some point.

From what Dougs told me, the ending of the book for My Sisters Keeper is completely different from the film. I think the books too savage for the film.
