I want a libertines tattoo. Badly.
They have a really soft spot in my heart. Im reading the book "Pete Doherty - On the edge" for the moment. It's good. Im getting Pete more and more now.

i find it ironic that pete doherty wasn't even a part of the album that made the libertines so famous.

You should read his journal that they published.

you liked pete doherty-on the edge? i've read some books on pete, the libs etc...and this was the worst of them all.
its pretty much full of lies. especially about his family.
i stopped reading after a few pages..the writing level is like the sun..made me mad.

i'd recommend bound together, kids in the riot and my prodigal son..the book of his mum.

anyways..you can find petes diaries (books of albion) at amazon

Its the only book on Pete ive ever read, so i really have nothing to compare with. Its good reading on the bus, but thats it. Nothing i would re-read.
Books of albion, yeah i think I downloaded some of it, at least a few pages a long time ago..

Do you know if they're gonna tour outside the UK soon? I miss 'em.

It took me a few pages, but eventually I was able to read Kurt's and Courtney's handwriting when their journals got published. So I'll buy it and see if I can deciever it. Does it have lots of pictures in it too?

I'd love to see them, I hope they come to America sometime soon. I also want more music, although I'm [b:18q5wq1b]really[/b:18q5wq1b] enjoying Pete's solo stuff at the moment. He's amazing with acoustic.

has anyone else seen "who the hell is pete doherty"?

^^ i think its really well written. and his mother seems to be a very honest and loving person. i would recommend it!
if that is any help to you.lol 5 quid? i bought it for like 15 xD my luck ...

@doig

up the bracket alley is near Hare Row, bethnal green station

the albion rooms aren't far from there either (they are 112a teesdale street) ..actually me and some friends thought about moving into the albion rooms..lol
the flat is for rental..but apperantly there is a list you can put yourself on with 9 months queue time... so that won't work out xD

would be great if the books of albion would be written like that.

that was the best baby shambles lineup...
mik does a ok job..but i miss pat on guitar. he was more unique.

well in lots of the celebrities journals i've seen, (especially the ones on drugs) sometimes their handwriting would be really easy to make out, and othertimes you couldn't at all.

i find it ironic that pete doherty wasn't even a part of the album that made the libertines so famous.

...pete was apart of "up the bracket" and "the libertines." which album are you talking about?

i'd say it was up the bracket that made them "famous" anyway. most of their most well known songs are from that or singles that weren't on either albums like what a waster and don't look back into the sun

Bethnal Green is a shithole, I dread having to go there.
