Ah shit that sucks. Hope you find someone to go with you. Will you go on your own if you can't?

For ppl in Sydney Spinnerette are in the current issue of The Brag, haven't seen it around though. Usually see it outside JB but haven't seen the new one. It's got the Gorillaz on the cover.

Has anyone managed to meet Brody or anything? Not sure whether to really stay too long after the show since it's on a Tuesday (blergh)

And how long do they play for, what time do they finish?

They play for about an hour, hour fifteen tops. One encore.

I went to the Corner gig last night.

I've got some pics and videos from the Factory show. They aren't too great though, shitty camera, plus the audio's completely fucked. I'll post them soon. I'm sick from that night, was pouring rain before and after.

Great show, thought maybe Brody's vocals were lost in the mix a bit.

idk if it was a fourmer who came up to me last night and asked if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends, but I apologise if I came off sounding like a rude bitch. I just didn't wanna lose my spot.

Worth it too since Brody's face was about 2 inches from mine numerous times :D

I wish I'd taken a decent camera with me, all I got is a few really blurry shots on my mobile phone.

Anyway, it was great, although I was a little disappointed they didn't do an encore. Especially disappointed that they didn't do The Walking Dead or Prescription for Mankind... really, they have so little material, they should do all of it. I can't complain though, it was fantastic to finally see Brody in person, and up close. And I got Tony to sign my CD afterwards.. if only Brody had joined him in packing up the equipment. :P

Yeah! I think they're never played The Walking Dead... Which is awful because I really think it is an amazing song and live should be awesome!
I wonder why they don't play this song...

Still sick but at least now the light from the comp screen isn't hurting my eyes like it was before. Won't bother with the vids for now, will get them up later.

I think Brody's vocals at the Factory Theatre were a little lost as well, but that could've just been because I was standing right next to the speakers. That's part of why my videos sound so bad. They played everything cept Cupid and Walking Dead. I didn't mind not hearing Cupid, but I love the Walking Dead so was kinda cut but knew they didn't usually play it anyway. First gig I've been to with a sausage sizzle outside.

With my pics just ignore the heads in the way, the red eye, and the shitty quality. I'm short, and my camera is a cheap piece of shit.

I seen Spinnerette at The Factory Theatre and The Corner Hotel and im so glad i went to both shows. Probably a better show at The Corner with much better sound than at the Factory, the crowd in melbourne was alot more pushy though, which i blame the venue. Got to meet the band while they were setting up for soundcheck and they were all pretty cool, Tony and Brody also signed some cd's and stuff for us to.
the set list for the sydney show was

Bury my heart
Valium knights
All Babes are wolves
Cupid
Geeking
Baptized
Spectral suspension
Distorting a code
Sex bomb
Driving song
Rebellious palpitations
Impaler
Prescrition for mankind
Ghetto love

All up it was a fucking awesome weekend.

There were people standing near me who were going from Sydney to Melbourne. Jealous. Wish I could've gone to a few of them.

yeah, it was well worth going to both shows seeing how they were at different venues with different crowds and stuff. We wanted to go to brisbane but kinda ran out of money. Next time i'll definitly go to all of em.
