Or a scooter or anything like that? We're wondering if they have to be insured and if so, estimate how much our car insurance might go up if we get one.

Yeah, I had one when I was living in Croatia, but it wasn't legally mine, it was a friend's, so I don't know how the insurance works... Sorry.

They are fun though! Especially through those narrow streets of Croatia.

yes, they have to be insured in most states, including arizona. i think the state considers them "motorcycles." call you car insurance provider and find out if they insure other types of vehicles. they should be able to give you a quote for basic liability and tell you what other packages they offer.

Well that's ridiculous. You have to get a different kind of license for driving motorcycles. Sounds like a lot of hassle. And if they do consider them to be motorcycles, no doubt our insurance will go up considerably. I guess I'll have to tell the boy no. Sigh.

well, i may be wrong. don't give up! i was just assuming they'd fall under that category.
i found this: [url=http://www.motorcycleinsuranceaz.com/:3juzagua]http://www.motorcycleinsuranceaz.com/[/url:3juzagua]
i don't know if you'd want to deal with separate companies for cars and vespas, that sound like it would be troublesome. but it does have some information about how it works, at least.

every biker i know never bothered getting a motorcycle license...

if im not mistaken, when i was reading the driving booket issued by the DMV, vespas are classified as motorcycles.

everyone i know who has driven a vespa loves them, particularly peope who drive them around in cities, like downtown Dallas.

If you need a motorcycle license, well… we believe in doing things legally. That way we won't have to pay bigger consequences if something should happen.

Also, that boy is most definitely wearing a helmet. No matter what. It's not a technicality or inconvenience. It's a matter of life safety.

what boy?

i didn't [i:1gb4t2tn]read[/i:1gb4t2tn] the thread. i just sort of glanced at it.

also, everyone i know who'se wrecked their bike wasnt wearing a helmet and survived. oddly enough, i know a guy who's friend was killed from head injuries (he split right in half) and he was wearing a helmet.

bit backwards isn't it?

A couple of years ago, I was set on convincing my parents to get me one and then I just forgot about it.

you can get a little bike one in europe for like $50 euros. You can probably disassemble it and ship it for pretty cheap.

fuck yeah! i didn't think anyone would know it. the graphic novel has a goofy art style but it probably funnier than the show. Though... I love the show because it's so short and it has great fucking music.

I've been meaning to buy these on DVD forever.

"Kamon," the kid's dad is my favorite. He's so fucking weird, and kind of creepy.
