But why don't you had something so we could add a tread or a post as spam, then you would have a letterbox dedicated to this.
So now the night you've pass by you would have to just watch those thread and delete it? it would take just a few second on our side.

yeah...i've never seen a forum so full of it.
i don't get why its so so much.
i have a forum myself..its free..and i don't get spam at all.

It only started a few days ago and it really took over the place.

i've never seen it like that.
it gives me a headache.

Every topic is filled with spam -__-

Is it helpful to admin if we report spam threads we find, or best to just leave them alone and the mods/admin get to them eventually?

A lot of boards are being spammed in excess this month (buzznet apparently had over 3500 hit them last week, and the AFI board has been getting slammed as well). A pain in the ass, for sure.

When the spam isn't so bad (like 1 or 2 threads maybe) then I think it's worth PMing Courtney but when the spams as bad as it is..I believe she'll be fully aware of the problem and doing her best to solve it.

how very sweet of you to ask. welcome to the board! unfortunately, there's nothing much to be done about the spam because the main administrator never signs on, and no one else has the authority to delete threads. i don't think it could hurt to send courtney a message about it, but it won't ensure that anything will be done, either.

This is nothing like the great spamming of '72. Ho-ly shit was it nasty. Child porn and prescription drugs like you've never seen. Everywhere you looked there was spam. Spam in your pocket, your wallet, glove compartment, mailbox. Spam in the roads, spam in the shower, spam in your hair. Open up a bag of chips or a can of vegetables and get spammed. Spam in your asshole.

Yeh. Someone needs to do something. The spammers are almost as active as the posters. It's getting annoying.

I keep getting emails from someone called Chris Wardman , who apparently constructed the website. He keeps sending an email request to join a group I apparently admin under a username I currently don't have access to

I never post on the forum and obviously I am not an admin but he has spammed my account with over 8 emails.

i have to manually verify all my new user registrations on DH because they try and rape

This spam has got to get under control. The type along with the PICTURES is a bit too much. What if like teens or their square parents come here to check out the band? No bueno.

someone will come, clean it up a bit. leave...then a few days later more spam.
