Sooo as an aspiring tattoo artist I often find myself drawing on my arms, legs, belly...
and people say "Oh, that can give you diseases" and "that's awful for your skin" blah blah blah, and I always just laugh and wave it off.
But today I was drawing a wing on my wrist, and for about five or ten minutes after my wrist HURT and even felt a little bit numb...
Any one got advice about this?

My sister's friend once coloured my sisters whole arm in pen and it went numb and fuzzy and stuff.

I always write shit on my arm with markers or pens at work, like little notes and things. It always fucks with my arm but I never pay it any mind.

just dont pay it any mind thats the key.

My friend gave me a sleave tattoo in marker one time in gym, it felt funny so i asked my gym teacher and she sent me to the nurse. Turns out ink is absorbed into your blood stream and if theirs enough of it, which can build up over time, can make your arm feel numb until some kind of cells eat it or something. I dont remember the medical terms, though. She told me that in middle school.

What pens are you using to draw with? Sharpie is toxic to skin when it is absorbed in large quantities.

I dunno about him but I always use pens and sharpies. we have them at work. then i learn a new spanish word or phrase I write it on me with marker so I wont forget. It takes a week or two to fully wipe off.

once i even wrote on my arm with a pencil. you know how fucking hard that is? pencil doesn't stick to skin very well
