I ran into Steve E outside of a Nekromantix show, and he told me all about his new band the Cute Lepers.
Theyre starting to play random small shows right now here in the Seattle area, but they're going to be doing a tour with the Horrorpops this summer.

You guys should check them out, especially if you like the Briefs!

He's the lead singer of the Briefs. You've never heard of the Briefs? They're amazing.

There's a whole fucking shit ton of pop punk bands in this area. The Cute Lepers and Avenue Rose are the only ones I really like, besides the Briefs.

When I lived in Seattle I met the Briefs walking out of a Thrift Shop.
They gave us tix to their show, but it was 21 and older, and I was only 19.

Aww, did you get to see their show in New Orleans this year? I saw a few good pictures from it. Trav was my sister's boyfriend, and that was one of the last shows he played with them. I miss him a lot.

They're going to release their second album pretty soon, that has the songs he actually recorded with them. The only thing he had to do with the first album was producing and acting as the alien in their Terminal Boredom video. They sound a bit different from their first album, but they're still really good!
