Sex and the City is entertaining but.. something about the characters annoy me. Especially Carrie with her silly columns (am I really supposed to believe that someone would pay mega-bucks for that crap?) Usually at least once during an episode I feel a desperate urge to slam her laptop against her head twenty times in a row.

Again, looking at it from [i:1yu24qtx]his[/i:1yu24qtx] perspective.. The whole wedding was Carrie's show, he didn't want 200 guests and haute couture wedding dresses. Less would make a grown man intimidated.

I'm starting to feel like one of those old women who watch Days of Our Lives everyday and do not understand that the characters are fictional =D.

The dress WAS lovely though.

The flower dress is amazing too, although I think I am the only person on earth who thinks it.

Maybe teamed with less offensive shoes it would be the perfect flower dress.

Despite, as Vicky has pointed out, my preference for Aiden I understood completely why Big did what he did.

Carrie turned it from a small 75 person wedding to a 200+ person extravaganza, with absolutely no regard for how Big felt about the whole thing.

Even though it's only a TV show, I think this is very true. When you look at people getting married, it seems in many cases that men get married because they love the person they are marrying, and would be happy at a registrars office. Many Women seem to see it as a chance to dress like a fucking cake, and get lots of attention.
It's rediculous.

Even though it's percieved as a 'womans show', I actually quite enjoy Sex and The City. The writers seem to be able to keep both the females and the males realistic - and Vicky and I often argue about who's right and wrong in a particular situation. She see's things the womans way, I see them the mans.

Also, Miranda deserved Steve cheating on her. She's a frigid bitch in that movie, and refuses to realise that she played a part in creating the problem in their marriage.

Also, she's very ugly.

I have a love/hate relationship with this programme. I like watching it and I'm always glad they play double episodes but my god, they don't know what the hell they want these are supposed to be intelligent women. 'mmm do shoes make you a bad person?' and other nonsensical questions, she always can't help but fucking wonder.

my favorite set of episodes are the ones where Carrie is trying to buy her apartment.
it makes me feel really good that she's in her mid-thirties and only has shoes to show for.
