I have two essays to write and I've managed to finish two whole paragraphs, how productive.
Conan starts in 10 minutes, can't be bothered to continue.

I do all my assessments last minute. Haven't failed anything yet so my last minute system works pretty damn well. If I did fuck something up maybe I'd consider starting things earlier but until then, won't mess with my system.

I do the same.
But now I'm on holiday and I thought it would be better to start doing them already, so that I don't wake up the day before school begins and realise that I have 4 pages to write.

Semester just started for us so don't have anything to do yet, feels kinda weird not having any assessments to do.

I have an essay to write for art.
No idea what to write, but hopefully when I get started it should be alright.

I got my ear pierced like 2 weeks ago, it healed pretty darn well and didnt hurt much. but yesterday it started to swell.. and now it pretty big and hurt pretty bad. but there's no goo in it, it's just swollen and sore. I clean it 3 times a day with alocohol.
my sis says it's normal but my guts tell's me it's something wrong.. :/
is it normal?

Ouch. Not sure, I guess wait a couple of days and if the swelling hasn't gone down maybe worry about it then. It might just be reacting to something. But I'm not an expert though.

I had more done in December and if I take mine out for netball, if I don't put them back in within a few hours I swear it feels like they're closing up again already.

im off to the doctor now..


Edit: the doctor needed to cut my ear open to get a chance to get the damn thing out... but he could'nt get the damn thing off so he had to get a tong and cut it in half..
now I got a bandage around my head and I need to eat pencilline 3 times a day for 10 days..

but the nurses reactions when I explained what had happened were priceless. "oh [i:35te6084]SHIT[/i:35te6084]!"

OK I guess I won't be getting my ear pierced again.
I do need to find a new ring for my third hole though, I lost the original one last summer and still haven't replaced it. Whoops.

Where on the ear did you get your ear pierced? the normal lobe piercing?

I pierced my own cartilage and never had a problem. It just looked like every other high school girl...I took it out. However my bff got it done and it got so swollen it was unbearable. She went to the doctor and he had to take it out. Skin had grown over the backing during the night.

I pierced my earlobe and cartilage at the same time. but it was the cartilage that fucked up.

cartilage is different from say your ear lobe, think it's cartilage on your nostrils too, it heals differently or something - yeh no expert either lol it's also best to get piercings done with needles and not the gun things they have, the guns harbour more germs where as needles are thrown out after one use - or should be.

i want me seconds done again, but I can see it going wrong again, I want my nose done but once i had my lip pierced and I put up with that for a month so...no. And I have a high pain threshold, but somewhere in the back of my mind I think about whats happening and faint...apart from when I have my ears pierced, never fainted from my ears being done.

cartilage heals very differently from the ear lobe. you can easily traumatize the cartilage which causes infection and irritation.

yea my bff cartilage grew overnight over the earring backing and grew a bubble on it.

I looked it up but only looked at pictures, didn't read anything. I'm guessing it's a coke fountain and you choose whatever you want, and can mix and match cokes and shit??

I'm pretty sure it has every product coke makes. Even flavors that aren't available in the US (like Coke Orange that's only in like, Russia).

Neither do I, but from what I understand, they have all the different coke products and certain flavors that you can choose from for each one. Coke, Fanta, Dasani, Barq's, Hi-C, Powerade, Minute Maid, and whatever else coke makes.
