"First of all: the show sucked ass.

As someone who liked Brody for her appearance and attitude, I figured I would might as well see her since I never saw her previous band. Tickets were cheap. I expected her crowd to be Distillers fans matured into the new music but to my dissapointment, though not as surprising, the GAMH was full of 16 year old moshers (moshing to Brody Dalle, seriously?) shitty sounds, a very bitchy Brody, no extra songs, no thank yous. Fuck people from LA.

Really horrible show. The opening band was a disaster. The only good band was the second opening act.

Maybe I'm just too old for "punk" that isn't "punk" and teenage crowds. I hate teenagers."

I couldn't disagree with what you say here more... Brody wasn't being bitchy, nor did she NOT say thank you. Also, I don't know where you were in the audience, but I was surrounded by kids that grew up during the times of the Distillers, who obviously, had matured with the music.

Did you just have a bad night in general? Was there a break-up or something?

On another ranting note; It baffles my mind that people here bitch about the young crowds. When the band did their 21+ promo tour, people fucking bitched. Now that they're touring to a broader crowd, it's too "teenage" and "annoying" ??? Seriously???? What is wrong with you people?

When a show is "all ages" (whether it be 7+ or 16+), you have got to know and understand that TEENAGERS will be there.

If you don't like those types of crowds, then don't go. When you bought tickets, did you HONESTLY believe that there wouldn't be an ounce of irritation involved with this type of show?

From the way I see it, you were more than likely one of those uptight bitches standing on the sidelines, remembering the days of the Distillers, as you scratch your cutting wounds on your wrists from back in the day when YOU were one of those "annoying punk rock" teenagers...

Hey, that's just my opinion in general.
I'm not gonna change it just because I like the band, you know? I've seen better and I wish this had been a nice show, but it just wans't. At least for me and a few others.
As for where I was, first row, then I moved to the balcony. And I stand by what I said, not once did she say thank you.

its not a one time thing, it's kind of weird to see someone whos so experienced with touring and live music just butchering thier own songs.


I'm not saying that songs have to be song exactly like the album, but it just sounds bad and off key, on all the live footage I've seen, it's kind of difficult to watch.

If you like it, good for you, I stand by your right to like it

I rest my case. Also, I don't know if you've seen her w/Distillers or not, but @ this particular show, as I said above, she seemed way more personable than in the past.... Circa-Distillers. Alot of the times, in those days, she was pretty much quiet + serious.

i don't think that one was actually too bad. i only have a massive problem with that shirt or sheet or whatever it is.

other songs from that performance were good, i think, maybe that one was just a fluke.

And second - i was just a bit annoyed because i didnt get to go see them live and the ppl who did get to are just on here moanin. and from the videos - it just doesnt look half as bad as ppl r makin out.
