I wouldn't read any Bible. I actually started the Old Testament when I was 8, gave up pretty quickly.

This green trend is starting to annoy me.

If you really are a Christian, do you need a coffee-table Bible? Or the GREEN Bible? I thought faith was meant to be serious.

i totally forgot i even started this. anywho, i loved the bible in a minute.

i would only flick through it to see what's different(like design wise) but that'd be it i guess. the green book is silly, i don't see how the bible really requires pictures - pride and prejudice didn't.

I would much rather read "when angels die" by andreas roman. The storyteller is Satan. I heard some of it at this website you can listen to the whole book, it's pretty damn cool.

It could be a great idea, by making more accessible for teens to read people can better understand scripture. I personally loath misinformation about the Bible. Most people are so lazy they wont read it but readily take on the opinions of others who haven't read it and merely listen to soundbytes.

As for the green Bible, good. Its about time christian organizations take pride in something their God created. According to their philosophy we are stewards to his creation therefore we are responsible to nurture it.

I used to try to read the bible when I was younger, dunno why, the whole idea is nice but just not interested, the bible has been changed through the ages on purpose.

I wouldn't be interested in reading this.I've already read the bible and I'm not interested in reading it again with or without pictures,I find it disgusting that people believe it and act on the ridiculous things it says.I know from my own expereience that alot of people turn away from religion with a stronger feelings against after reading it and seeing how followers are ( especially the most vocal ones).
