Babel - at first it was really weird and I wasn't understanding it, but at the end it was actually one of the best films I've seen, the acting was so good.

I watched it too. I've seen it before, think I liked it more the second time.

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are great in it.

In The Land of Women.

A strong example of why I shouldn't just watch whatever's on when I'm bored during my 4 day weekend.

Repo! The Genetic Opera. Didn't like it.

The Children, I actually really liked this film, its a british horror (I usually get really bored of horror films after the first person dies) simple plot, fairly low budget. It was one of those films that didn't try to hard, with the script or special effects, but still managed to be really creepy.

It will put you off having children though.

Inglourious Basterds.

Went in with pretty low expectations but was pretty surprised by it, completely different to what I thought. Loved the quirky humour going on. Kinda upset with Michael Fassbender's hair. Boo.

i just realised there is a Roots/Kunta Kinte reference which was first published in '77, if i'm not mistaken. and this was during WWII? slight historical inaccuracy...

Well I guess Tarantino wasn't exactly shooting for historical accuracy. Loved the random Bowie track.

lol yeah i thought it was going to be accurate.
I really liked it!!
Though I got extremely annoyed when people in the audience laughed at [i:1r19xo6w]every little thing[/i:1r19xo6w] Brad Pitt said, I didn't find his dialogue really funny, aside from the 'Italian' Scene.

lol yeah the Italian scene he earnt those laughs.

The cinema I was in was full of people who only laughed maybe twice. I think they just sucked and most of it went over their heads. Why no one else pissed themselves laughing when Hitler called that guy my darling I'll never know.

i can't recall ANYONE in the cinema laughing at anything. it seemed like a really tense bunch, and like we were the only people laughing or commenting on it.
