hi other fans the video is quite good but i spend over 4hours trying to rip the video ...the "direct" link to the video is well hiden..
So i decided to record the video using software. Now i have the video in good quality but i cannot record the sound so plz help me to record the sound of the streaming video (i need a 10 mins 30 sec lenght mp3)

how did you rip it?...and why did it take 3 hours? yikes!! that's so long to mix it

i record the video with aviscreen in uncompressed big video file then i reconvert it to divx6 and use deblocking video effect and denoising (to improve a bit the video quality)
then i rip the audio with replay av demo (many audio bugs)
at the end i had 3 audio file (4min55,4min and 3 min) and i had to cut some parts to have the real audio from the video (10 mins28)
then there was a delay when i mix audio/video
when i thought i corrected it , there was a progressive desynchro after 2 minutes of the video so i change the framerate of the video to 32 or 33 and finally it works well with the audio

that's some dedication!
i had the audio up, you could have used it =] but i guess it might not have went exactly with what you had ripped.

there must be a way to save embedded videos easier?
that sounds terribly complex.

If you don't mind, I ripped the original flash video. The rtmpe stream is hidden within VPRO's website in an xml file ([url=http://3voor12.vpro.nl/api/media/1/rest//program/42378942.xml:2p7nr645]see here[/url:2p7nr645]). You just need to use rtmpdump to rip it.

It's an encrypted rtmp stream, hardly any programs support it because it infringes on copyright. Sometimes rtmp urls can be found in xml files.

There's hardly any--Jaksta or GetFLV might in certain cases but they seem unreliable. For rtmpdump, there's a torrent that has Linux, Windows, Mac, Fedora, etc versions of the program, if you Google it. Use the latest version, 1.6, it seems the most stable.

this bury my heart is far better than the one from the edge i think, he's less gravely

In the edge version Tony's voice makes my skin crawl.

Not so much in this one though, this one's good.

seems like brody is trying to "hum? (dont know the exact word)" in too high note

tony's singing is annoying because his voice is so "neutral". he can't give melodic backing vocal

In Bury My Heart its because he's trying to sound husky and it sounds forced, plus, cause he's a guy it sounds creepy and weird. I don't even know why he's trying to do it.

The backing vocals on the album are like that but I never noticed them until I saw this vid. Love Tony but I would love if they had some girl do backing vocals. Just me?

i quite like tony's backing actually.

but brody messed up the chords in the beginning.. and that was pretty cringe worthy moment.
