Swine flu isn't as bad as a lot of people think it is, it's just misinformation and people overreacting. Calling it swine flu doesn't help coz it isn't really swine flu anyway.

While I was on holiday with three friends I shared a car with them for a 12 hour drive while they all had swine flu and I didn't get it. They all recovered within a few days to a week. Hope you feel better.

Our computer crashed Wednesday night and I got blamed for it. It was a power surge. Took until today for it to start working properly again <_<

I started feeling all gross yesterday (like a chest cold/throat thing). When I woke up today, my voice didn't work; it was all squeaky and annoying. I still had to go to my nephew's birthday party though. Then I get home with a bunch of food and boxes of stuff (I just moved into an apartment and grabbed some stuff from my dad's while I was there) and the door was locked. My husband is gone until the morning so I had to load everything back into the car and go to his aunt's house down the road until somebody could come and let me and my kid in. What a day.

Also, I do not recommend going to a kid's birthday party when you're not feeling well.

Well yeah, any flu is deadly. More people have died from other flus this year than swine flu, it's no more life threatening than any other virulent flu. It just seems like it is because of the fuss people make about it.

It's just that if my fever doesn't go down by tonight, I'm getting commited to the hospital for surveilance.... I'm scared, cause my family is not here. I got my best friend to come over, she is gonna go with me in the ambulance that is picking me up tonight. The fever wont go down, it's been almost a week with hiiigh fever.

Alright, I'll keep you posted... Wont have much to do at the hospital but sleep and play with my laptop...

So, my husband forgot to tell me he told his cousin that he could stay with us while he's back in town. With his girlfriend that I don't know. Not really a big deal, except that he'll be here for several months. We owe him (my husband's cousin) because we stayed with him for a bit while we looked for an apartment a few years ago, but it would have been nice if he had talked to me about it before he offered.

I called in sick to work today with a flu and they called me later saying how much they needed me to be in tomorrow and also told me that a girl who i work with apparently was confirmed to have swine flu. Then they call me guilt tripping me to come in while I'm sick. I was so fucking angry.

I'm hating the English language right now.

We had a practice fire drill at school and drawing a skeleton is one of the most difficult things ever.

I love drawing skeletons, animals more than people, does get frustrating though.

Have a lecturer that really shouldn't be lecturing, he's horrible. We had him for 3 hours straight like we do every Thursday morning. Tallied him saying umm 236 times in 30 minutes. Fail.

I go to college once a week to learn dog grooming and 2 of the dogs in today had fleas!!! How can you not know your dog has fleas!? I'm all bloody itchy now.

we looked after a mate's dog before whilst they were on holiday. they didn't tell us the dog had fleas. the whole house was infested for weeks and coz they can live happily in the carpets we had no idea how to completely get rid of them.

solution: mix a couple of drops of tea tree oil with water and spray the whole house.

it actually worked!

my cats somehow got them!
the house was hell for two weeks
they are gone now thank god!
