Sometimes. I rarely enjoy it.

I drink when friends are drinking, when I'm suuuper bored, or when I'm sad, but not in a drown my sorrows kind of way. In drink-to-relax kind of way.

Myspace really angers me. So does facebook. I hate it when people put up pictures of themselves that they obviously took (I can see their arm holding the camera), but they try to look like they don't really notice the camera there. Or, there's this one (really big) girl who always takes pictures of herself with dumb makeup on and really really low cut shirts, and her arm (the one holding the camera) makes her cleavage huge, (like she needs help with that!) and she always makes the "I'm sad" face, which I think is also her "sexy" face.

Turns out my father had ingeniously transferred our whole "My Documents" folder to a separate hard drive after our computer's own space ran out.

That separate hard drive is now dead.
Being old fashioned in terms of buying CDs in physical form has never felt better.

I thought the worst thing would be losing a few HQ live shows of my favourite artists.
But now I've realised that my late grandmother's memoirs were there as well (!!)
Its safe in the original paper form but my mother worked SO hard to type it all up =/

So I REALLY hope that our "computer man" can recover the files..

But, I know what you mean. I'm bastardly picky about who I add to my Facebook. I never tell anyone I have one, unless I want them to know about it. Lulz. The only reason I even bother with Facebook is so I can keep up with certain friends. I cringe when I get a friend request from a family member.

I have mostly family on mine. I figure they're the only people who want to see a billion pictures of my kid (she's cute, what can I say?). I hate getting requests from people I haven't talked to since High School. We weren't friends then, we probably won't be friends now.

I'm the black sheep in my family, I feel awkward around almost everyone in my family. Knowing some of them have access to my facebook makes me uncomfortable. I'm cool with my sister, though.

I too am the black sheep. I have my brother as a friend mostly so I can make fun of him. I have my sister because it wouldn't be fair to have him and not her. My other brother doesn't do computery things, so I have his wife as a friend. I have a few aunts, an uncle, some cousins. Then real people that I still don't really talk to. I mostly stick to messages instead of writing on people's walls though. I don't need other people reading what I write.

Oh, and I have a lot of my husband's family too.

Couches are long comfy chairs that can seat more than one person, usually situated in from of a TV. Nothing is ever sofa.

Most people in Michigan say "pop" but I say "soda."
A sofa and a couch are two different things. A couch is bigger and a sofa could also be called a loveseat.

It annoyed me so much when we watched Brokeback Mountain at school, and everytime there was a sex scene between Jake and Heath all the boys in my class giggled (!!) and covered their eyes.

Okay this is where I start to have a problem with religion in this, and I apologize in advance for changing the subject a little. But I have to get this out.

Right now, they are proving that gays have a different brain chemistry than straight people. So if God did create us (keep in mind here that I am Agnostic), he made these certain people with that brain chemistry. He made them gay. So by that logic, God has condemned them, right from birth.

Every Christian I have had this conversation with (not debate because I sincerely try to understand them) has said that it's okay to have their feelings and their thoughts, but it's the act of homosexuality that is a sin. So gays are allowed to be gay. They can just never be truly happy with a partner to journey through life with.
