how sad and totally bizarre. in the last six months the woman's son dies of an apparent drug overdose, then she marries (or, rather, has a committment ceremony with) her attorney, then she has a baby and is sued by an exboyfriend who demands a paternity test, then she falls down dead at the hard rock hotel? something sinister is going on here...

This whole deal about her ending up in a big mess and then conveniently "dying."

The idea is that I go around getting myself into all sorts of trouble, you know making outrageous bets, robbing people, stealing things.
Then I fake my own death and move to a different state, or possibly to a different country, and I'm stinking rich!

I fear I don't understand what you're trying to say to me. What's CNN got to do with anything? If you fake your death and CNN broadcasts news of your death, it would be a good thing becuase it would show that A, you've fooled everyone into thinking your dead (when by that time you'd be in hiding or en route to your foregin destination, dead to the world.) and B, having it on the news would let everyone know you're "dead".

If you're famous it won't work unless you disguise yourself.
