does anyone here smoke with clear papers?. i'd never heard of them, but then my friend bought them and rolled a joint with one. they're cool. looks like it's a straw and the smoke looks like liquid.

yeah, they're expensive here too. The only thing i like about them is they're easy to roll with, but they taste really bad.

If i smoke i die. 4 years ago the doctor diagnosed me a lung sickness and I didnt find out till december 2006, when i already started smoking. But i could quit it and now i never smoke

i had a friend that had smoked for 7 years and decided that when she turned 20 she would stop, and she did.

yes..because i dislike that doctor a lot and always when we went to see him, I never listen to what was he saying to me and my parents never say me nothing about it, and the last year, when i was in my 14 years revision, the doctor said: Do you smoke? And I lied: No Then he said me: You do well, with your lung sickness it could go bad :wacko:

actually, i bitch about fat people far more often than i complain about smokers. i don't think anyone should have fork over their hard-earned wages so that the government can pay for some compulsive eater's heart medicine. but i also don't want to pay for a smoker's lung transplant.

here's my 2 cents: i smoked for um...shit i have to count...fuck, from 15 to 27, so what, 12 years. i've been an EX-smoker for about 2 years now, and now that i've quit, well i feel fuckin' stupid for resisting for so long.

i quit right after i got married. my husband had nagged me about it for the 3 years we spent together before we got married...about how we should BOTH quit & about how much it costs & about when we have a baby & blah, blah, blah. and all i knew then was that i FUCKING LOVED it. i sincerely enjoyed smoking. the action of it, the time it took up, and i thought i looked pretty "hard" with one casually hanging from my lip (as if it were fucking glued there or something).
*oh yeah, i like the word 'fuck' a lot, too...it's one of my favorites, ever, actually*
but here's the thing. there are a few things i absolutely will NOT have that apply to smoking. for one, you smell like ass to people who still have their sense of smell. and that's another, smoking affects your sense of smell as well as your ability to sing & speak clearly w/out hacking up a thick nasty ball of slime in between words (or 1st thing in the a.m. for that matter). also, once you get addicted, you're fucking screwed, dude. i mean, that shit is HARD to put down. i know there are people out there who've quit like it was nothing & the only thing i can think about those people is "lucky them", because it was HARD for me. shit, i still want one when i'm drinking. and i HAVE smoked a couple in the 2 years i've been quit...and it was NASTY! i way regretted it the next day.

so anyway, the big deal for me to quit...well, it was 2-parted, actually.
1) it was put to me like this - if they're SSOOO great & you love 'em SSOOO much, then teach your toddler how to smoke. go ahead & sit that baby, who you love more than life, down in your lap & hand 'em one. light it up & teach them to drag & inhale.

well you nasty, pathetic son-of-a-bitch. i most certainly will not. and i don't even have kids yet. but being a mother is something i've always longed to be & when i am, i'll teach 'em the truth, dammit.

2) while you are addicted to cigs, the tobacco companies have you by the balls. of course, it was put a little more tastefully to me, but you get the image. once you've really developed that addiction (and you WILL if you keep at it), those big giant bullshit coporations have you right up under their thumb. you are their bitch. because you can't go a single fucking place without grabbing that pack. and GOD FUCKING FORBID you should find yourself somewhere without 'em. you'll stop & spend the 5 bucks at a convienience store to replace them even if you have a carton at home. because you are fuckin' whipped.

and i'm very "damn-the-man" in most cases & i DEFINITELY don't like the idea of being controlled by anybody much less a fuckin' corporation, so that, also, made me go "fuck this, man"

in addition to being very bad for you, cigs are expensive, give you a funky stinky mouth & premature wrinkles (yeah, wrinkles...the ones that make you look old n' shit).

so there ya go...that's what i have to say about that. i've heard that ex-smokers are the worst non-smokers there are. and it's true. because smoking cigarettes is stupid. for, like, a MILLION reasons. i mean, all those negatives & they don't even, like, get you high or fuck you up or anything. screw that.

I mentioned that people may think I contradict myself by saying im open minded, but on an argument like this, I’m obviously not going to take what people say about smokers(negative comments that is). Smokers are treated like shit already, I can’t even smoke when I finish my lunch (the best time to do it), I can’t enjoy a fag when I’m out in a pub anymore because it’s banned, I get abuse thrown at me when I have smoke break at work for example “that’s disgusting/for fuck sake put that out/do that somewhere else etc..” People saying things like that to me makes me very pissed off, I don’t give off to them if they go and stuff their faces, if their children are screaming when I’m waiting in line at a shop. I dwouldnt dare complain to someone if they were doing something that I wouldn’t like unless of course it was something like slaughtering an animal… you know? My views may be a bit gloomy such as : I could walk out infront of a bus and get mauled in 2 seconds, basically saying that we’re all going to die someday, so what the point complaining about smoking? first of all. i wasnt ragging on smokers the least bit. i have a lot of friends who smoke its notlike its easy to stop smoking i smoked for 4 years until i finally quit. i understand fully what kind of shit they go through.

i think it's a two way street. both smokers and non-smokers should be sensitive towards each other.
