I want to buy a new pair of shoes but I was stupid and spent wayy more money than I should have at the Sex Pistols so I'll wait until my next bursary

i couldnt live without my doc martens, converse and high heels. i just live wearing heels now...as ive gotten older the more i want to wear them.

i'm 22 and am still in love with tennis shoes. i used to be converse all the time. then nike bought them out, the bastards. i wear macbeths now. and, coincidentally, they happen to also be vegan.
these, but all black. and a hell of a lot more grungy:

let me add, i still wear my old converse before the nike days. i'm afraid they won't last much longer though. :/

i still love my converse and i have a bunch of old pairs from the 70s i love. i probably walk better in heels im more stable on my feet with them.

i remember when my sister first put on feels she walked like a duck and was awkward.

i own two pairs of docs, a pair of DCs a pair of converse, and my steel toed boots, and my fire boots, thats it.. no heels for this kid.. way too difficult

hah i've had them for a really long time. there was a period of time where i was traveling a whole lot. i went from the city to the woods, on one side of the country to another. those were my only shoes. i guess the rainy season in the missouri woods are what really did them in.

yes! since you speak french already, it will be ridiculously easy. the basic structure is the same.
in spanish you can leave out pronouns and the sentence still makes sense.

in french,

but in spanish it's just

it's super easy, and knowing spanish, you can understand portuguese perfectly, and some italian too.

ancient greek would help you because you'd know roots/radicals that form some words, but i guess that would be it.

as a kid, i wanted to be an archaeologist because i thought all of them led indiana jones-like lives.

Yes it's rather simple, though the dieser/diesem/einer/einem/einen/der/dem things are driving me nuts, we don't have any of that in Finnish. I have to learn those by heart today, I have an important test tomorrow..

It does depend a bit on what your native language is, the Italians are struggling to cope with it (unfortunately most of them are failing grandly), but the Finnish and the Dutch have no trouble at all.

i had to go asda today for my shoppin, i much prefer tesco but the car is off the road til next week so had to make do with annoyin asda. no offence if anyone here works in an asda but whenever i'm in there i just want to scream and say to the staff, 'stop bein so happy, its asda, its to jolly to be here' not that i'm a miserable person but in asda they have a meet and greet person at the entrance handin out baskets and then they constantly talk over the microphone tellin you whats on offer and i just think 'please leave me alone, i came in to buy one thing so please stop tellin me all the wonderful things asda has to offer'!

knowing portuguese helps me [i:155l6efz]a lot[/i:155l6efz], but there aren't as many masculine/feminine words.
and knowing english helps with expressions (avoir sur soi, etc).

i soo wish i could learn languages but its just so frustrating, i studied french for eight years, i had to for six, because of the school system, i gave it up in my last year of high school because my grade eleven teacher was an idiot. Biggest mistake ever, what with living in a bilingual country and all. well i guess not really because i've been to quebec once, dont plan on going back, they hate the rest of canada, and are really rude to any anglophones. i know this because when i was there i was still taking french and could understand and communicate, not very well, but enough to get my point across. They didnt know that. Plus the french i learned here, yeah it was absolutely useless when i was in france because canadian french is so much different. well, on a friendlier note..
