so i've got this idea for a tattoo

it's gonna be an image representing getting through a hard time/escaping difficult
times and moving forwards

it's gonna have a banner saying "THROUGH THICK AND THIN" wrapped
around it with the words going like this


THROUGH

THICK

AND

THIN


thing is i have no idea what the image could be, that represents what i want
it to represent..

does anyone here having any ideas/advice?

i think you should sleep on it. you'll think of something. a tattoo should be your own.

Definitely do not rush this kinda thing, just think, this is forever. There isn't a time limit to get it, I thought for years before getting any.

i also recommend limiting yourself one tattoo per year.

that's awesome maybe you could put something rising from something else.. or idk it should be your own creation i think you should maybe come up with something then when u go get the tattoo the artist can give you pointers, i like the sound of it though

i think you should get it if it has sentimental value to you it sounds cute as well

i think to honor your brother the green star would be cool.

a tatoo should most definitely be your own, especially if its meant to be something so meaningful. sit and think about what you came through, and where you want to go with it. if nothing comes up, and you get no ideas, then you should just wait until you know whats right. i'm having the same trouble with the tat that i want.
