i've only read cujo and that was about 9 years ago. loved it. it wasn't mine though so i need to go round the charity shops and see what i can find.

It's amazing what you find in those places.

Picked up a hardback for 80p last week..And most of my other ones cost less than Ј2.50

i've read IT, The Regulators, and now im workin on Lisey's Story.

Very talented man.

I strongly recommend Insomnia.

its not one of those books you can read whilst doing something though.
its quite confusing at times and needs your full attention,

i've only ever read a book of short stories by stephen king. i saw the movie pet semetary once, and then we got a kitty that looked like the kitty in the movie, so we named him church. he died, but didn't come back to life.

Church is the best character.

i love stephen king... i've read tons of his books, but my favorite is insomnia. i'll make a list of what i've read later... if i feel like it. i'm feeling a bit lazy now. it's nearly 4am...
he lives here in maine (well he did, but now he lives in florida too i guess) i haven't seen him personally (he lives in bangor, i think, which is a little ways away), but i've heard from people that have met him that he's a pretty nice and down to earth guy. we've got tess gerritsen in maine too... not too far from me actually. i guess it's a popular place to write frightening stuff... maybe that's why i live here.

I'd kill to visit Maine

I don't read a lot but if I did, it would be Steven King. I've watched the movies: Carrie (a bunch of versions), The Green Mile and Cujo. I suck. If I managed my time better, I'd read.

It's been claimed to be his best work. ( I've attempted to read it a few times, what I've read was really good )

[i:2afjeyl0]the stand[/i:2afjeyl0] was made into a t.v. miniseries in the nineties. gary sinise is in it. i liked it mostly because that old woman calls his character "east texas."

i was gonna read it but then decided to read the eyes of the dragon..what an interesting book.

It's not harsh. It's totally true. I understand that he doesn't bash her stories at all (which I dislike simply because she's screwed around too much with the Vampire myth) and says they're actually quite good, but that her writing is awful and it is. Both she and her editors obviousy have no clue.
