referring back to the first page gelatin in everything pisses me off I well love sweets like haribo and can't have them I wish they'd use pectin! But then global warming issues? cuz it comes from plants i dunno.

I miss mcdonalds, I actually really do.

I constantly have a moral dilemma about being vegetarian cuz I think 'ok maybe I should be vegan' becomming vegetarian wasn't hard at all really but I just think being vegan would. I think being killed to be eaten is just a shitty deal where as laying eggs as long as it's free range is ok, but I have an issue with milk cuz those cows arent supposed to lactate like that but I still drink milk.

Vegetarians who eat fish piss me off and I've known so called vegetarians that eat fish, sweets with gelatin in them and beer that has fish bits in it!

'free range' isn't really 'free range'. it's just a larger space in which to pack the hens.

I LOVE falafel. Man, they have great falafel in Seattle… If you live there, check out the Falafel King in the U District. If my memory serves me correctly it's somewhere around Buffalo Exchange on the other side of the street. A whole in the wall place, but MAN it's great falafel.

Catholics aren't supposed to eat meat on Fridays during Lent. HOWEVER, you ARE allowed to eat fish. So if we all went out to eat at a restaurant on a Friday during Lent, and one of us were Catholic. Everyone orders steak right? Not the Catholic, it would be fish or a salad or soup, anything that didn't have any other meat in it.

This probably has something to do with pescataries or whatever the fuck they're called. I think it's got something to do with the bible. They probably think it's OK.
Besides, some island nations eat A LOT of seafood. I know a Puerto Rican woman (born and raised in Puerto Rico) and she says when she was young, they ate seafood almost every day. It's probably just a diet. Like how a VEGETARIANS diet lacks meat. Maybe these folks prefer a diet that's mostly fish. I dunno...

This would be my reason too if I ever become vegetarian. I tried once and it lasted 3 days. I think I'll do better when I move out and I'm forced to buy my own groceries.
