ok new topic coz was gonna post this in the 'baby pictures' thread but thought that this topic could start to get popular soon seeing as quite a few of us have kids.

this happened to tyler today in the mcdonald's play area.



if you look at his forehead you can just makeout a big lump that covers the whole right side of his forehead.

my boyf has not long taken him to hospital coz this is a pretty big bump like the ones you see in cartoons.

Holy christ! I hope he's alright! I've got my fingers crossed for a lack of concussion.

PS. Be wary of the ball pit! Kids poop/barf/pee/etc. in those all the time.

haha don't worry there was no ball pit just a climbing frame that was surrounded by padding but i made him stay at the bottom level yet he managed to trip and hit his head on this plastic turning thing.

i would sue mcdonald's but they had plenty of signs stating that 'all kids should be supervised by an adult at all times'.

i feel so guilty now.

don't take that last post as me not watching him though.

i was, but i kept running back to the table to grab some fries and i couldn't get him out of there once he'd gone in.

Aw, it's all right. You can't protect your kid from everything. Maybe now he'll be more cautious.

i hope so.

i think he was ok though coz he wanted to go back in the play area straight after it happened.

My nephews are the same way. They get hurt (or sick) and they want to keep playing. Boys are funny.

My mom told me not to touch the iron but then I did it anyway, but I never did it again that's for sure.

Also, my daughter thinks your son is cute.

oh he's banged his nose and his tooth before now which ended up bleeding and he didn't seem bothered, but then he doesn't know yet what the red stuff is and that it means he's been hurt.

I did that when I was little too. I wanted to test it like my mom did. I've never used my finger to test the iron (because the first time was with my entire hand).

Phoenix will get red marker on herself and thinks she's bleeding because she cut her finger on a soda can a while back. It's really funny.

i didn't see the pic of ur daughter in the other thread.

yea kid's see blood and they have this huge panic attack.

When they aren't serious, baby booboos are cute.

Whats funny is when toddlers dont know whether to laugh or cry when they fall over lol.

tyler's only now coming back from the hospital but it was coz of the ridiculous 2 hour wait.

the doctor examined him and he seem's fine we just need to watch for any odd behaviour, dizziness, vomiting etc...

phew.....

there is no possible way to protect a child from everything. they learn from their mistakes just like everyone else.

Well Im supposed to be having baby number 3 in 2 days - so Im sure Ill be scrapping some of him
